The 2020 show was a hit... and we stayed dry!
While the Central Coast, Sydney and South Coast were coping a beating with huge rainfalls, somehow we managed to stay dry in Bathurst for our annual show. The horrendous (but much needed) weather was not enough to scare off a stack of staunch bikers, and there was excellent local attendance too. Competition entries were down, but of the 76 bikes that registered, there was great diversity and some seriously sweet rides. The layout was a little different this year, with 'Chuck's Wagon' performing on the 'Burkes Transport' stage, right in the middle of the show area. The Mayor gave us an update on the development of the new race track and Grunt from Brotherhood talked to us about stereotypes - an interesting take on the subject. The after party at the Knickerbocker Hotel was a great way to cap off an awesome day. 'Pig Iron Bob' got the crowd moving with an eclectic mix of new and old rock n roll classics and the food was tasty as always. We are looking for new ways to keep growing the event so stay tuned for the show in 2021. Thanks for all the support, from our volunteers, sponsors and everyone that came out. See you next year!
